sometimes, there are day´s like today. i feel powerless BUT happy.
ten day´s ago, i started my first motobike tour with my friend andreas. the aim of this journey was the nordkap.
during the arrangements for the trip, i´ve never lost a mind regarding rain and coldness. by the way, it´s summer in scandinavia. paaaaah..what for a missbelief. it was sooo cold during the first 2000 km and my water protection pant was ineffective.
i think, it is hard to understand how it feels, to drive on your bike for 600 km at 4 °C in the pouring rain. it feels like tiny nails under your skin. IT HURTS
After the first wet day´s, the required sun was there and the atmosphere increased.
Scandinavia is a wonderfull place to be (when it´s dry) . The landsacpe is indescribable beautiful.
the ultimative aim of this journey was the nordkap. this is a loney rock in the middle of nowhere. unfortunately a visit of this rock is very expensive. olny the access costs approx. 20 €. unbelievable !!!!
i can highly recommend the Lofoten...wonderful.
